Details:
On Friday 20th September, two days before the Southern Hemisphere Spring Equinox, a magenta coloured smoke-hazed sun was recorded setting almost vertically behind Murahwa Mountain due west of Murambi. Visibility was poor but the accompanying pictures and x12 speed time-lapse video were captured before dark clouds which could have obscured the sunset approached from the east. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
