Details:
On Tuesday, August 27th, at 3:20 PM (06:20 PM UT), I managed to capture a fascinating prominence completely detached from the sun on the southeastern limb. This impressive prominence was floating about 70,000 km above the solar surface, extending up to 150,000 km. At the same time, another large prominence was visible in the northwest. To complete this intriguing solar landscape, numerous sunspot groups could be observed in the southern hemisphere of our star.
