Details:
What an unbelievable night of Aurora just north of Watertown, SD. The colors just exploded between 01:30 - 2:00 am CDT. Right when I was about to go home, the sky suddenly got crazy bright, and the colors stretched all the way up to the Zenith. (at least twice the height of the video) The pulsating motion was so fast as the flashes of light would race across the entire sky in less than a second - something that you just can't pick up with a camera. The bright orange moon rising in the north east just couldn't compete with all the light from the aurora. It was incredible.
