Here's a stacked image from last night showing Jupiter and Mars just 25' apart. Both planets could fit inside the angular size of a full moon as illustrated by the background Moon I've added to the image. It was really beautiful watching them together through my telescope. When taking the image sequence I could frame both planets in my field of view through my telescope. Fingers crossed for another clear sky tonight when they will be even closer together.
