Details:
On 15th July, good views were obtained of a Full Venus setting behind a tree in fading volcanic sunset glow three-quarters-of-an-hour after sundown. A Full Venus is rare to see because it only appears full when behind (on the far side of) the Sun. In the accompanying combined time-lapse animation the clearly circular outline can be observed setting towards and then behind a tree on a hill to the WNW of Mutare. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
