Details:
At first you couldn’t seethe lights with the naked eye then around 11:30 a burst of solar flares made the colors really come out to play! I could see light columns of pinks and reds easy enough. The purple & green was harder to see but the camera captured it successfully. Unaltered photos of the Aurora Borealis last night here in Joshua Tree. The only modification was a 3 second exposure on iphone. No filters have been added.
