Details:
It was 9:26pm Aug 11, 2023 well after sundown when we were having a lightning storm without rain at my location. I was filming lightning when we had a flash much wider than "ribbon lightning" or normal lightning. It lit the entire scene up as if the sun was still up. I went back through my film and found this super-wide bolt. Is there a way to find out if the cloud top had elf or sprites? What type of lightning is this. I'm 50 and study weather and this was new to me. Where was this flash at? I was in Benton County AR looking towards the AR/OK border. It was between Colcord OK & Maysville AR maybe further west than that.
