Details:
After a Spaceweather.com email I waiting till dark to walk the dogs. Steve appeared 5 mins before the main aurora hit and it was presenting to the south as Orion shows. My first encounter with Steve and I was delighted! Aurora's were stretching East to West and it was the best display I have seen for years. Pink aurora snap is looking West.
