Details:
After a wet and cloudy day the weather opened up around midnight over eastern England and for the third time in two weeks the sky came alive. The show went on for some four hours or more. Some of the colours seemed purple but it was difficult to tell whether this was aberration or real. Yes Dr Phillips is right .. at 52 degrees Auroras certainly do like the equinox.
