Details:
August’s full Moon was traditionally called the Sturgeon Moon because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of summer. I imaged the Last Supermoon of 2022 on 08-11-22 called Stureon Supermoon. This image is a stack of 25 Raw images. As you can see I wanted to process the color data and share it with you. I used an EdgeHD 9.25 OTA and a Canon 5D MarkIII full frame color camera from my Manorville NY, observatory in my backyard. The interestingly-named supermoon gets its name from the Algonquin tribes of North America. Kind regards to ALL 🙂
