Details:
By the time that I could find this little world the Sun had just set and Mercury was swimming in high clouds and atmospheric turbulence. Still, I was visually able to detect its gibbous shape and possibly even captured a faint hint of surface detail using the near infra-red IR610 filter. Mercury was imaged with a Celestron EDGE C9.25 SCT f/10 and a ZWO ASI290mm camera with ZWO filters.
