Details:
Yesterday evening the sky cleared out for only about 30 minutes above Salla, Finnish Lapland. But that was enough to show us the northern lights... and a giant fireball. The fireball disintegrated in several parts, which unfortunately are not really visible on the photo I made. But the colors were red, blue and even green, while the northern lights were only showing faint green at that moment. A great moment to remember for all northern lights hunters that were shouting and wowwwwing it out!! Now we are waiting for the CME to arrive on February 10th. Who knows what extras we will get then...???
