Details:
Despite a very bright Waxing Gibbous Moon, meteors were in abundance over the clear skies of Southeastern Pennsylvania. I visually observed over 15 between 11:15pm and 12:45am December 13-14. After shooting at least 300 photos of the Orion region, a very bright Geminid streaked through the mighty hunter at 12:24am being bright enough to be recorded. It seemed to have a distinct yellow coloration. I used a modified Canon XS DSLR, 18-55mm Zoom Lens, ISO1600, f/3.5, 15 second exposure.
