Details:
I send you this picture taken this morning December 14, 2021 from Teide Observatory (IAC, Tenerife, Canary islands), showing a super bolid Geminid.
I can observe visually this bolid, that begins with a orange tone changing quickly to a green emerald hue. The Geminid was so brilliant that illuminates the landscape with a green tint as you can see.
At the foreground is the dome of MASTER robotic telescope, a russian global robotic system for monitoring near-Earth and extrasolar objects and events.
Just at right in the background is Teide volcano, the highest mountain of Spain. The point lights are mountaineers who climb at night to see the sunrise from the top.
The winter Milky Way is shown in the sky, with constellations like Orion, Sirius star and Taurus (Pleiades cluster at right). Red airglow bands are also visible.
