Details:
We had to get out from under the coastal fog so went inland from Vandenberg to the Santa Ynez Airport, where we set up with a tripod. All of a sudden the sky got very bright in the west, and a few seconds later the rocket rose into view. A minute later the rumble of the engines arrived.
