It was nice sight in the fading light. The top image is Mercury and Venus conjunction. The bottom image is a prior capture of the full Supermoon for scale. Venus and Mercury had a separation of 0.4 degrees less than the diameter of the Moon. Both images were acquired with a Questar telescope and a Nikon D850 camera in Tucson AZ. Closest Venus and Mercury conjunction until 2033.
