Okay this time I had clear skies and I was able to capture another event that occurred this week besides the total lunar eclipse which I was not able to record because of Cloudy conditions of where I was at! But not so for the Mercury Venus conjunction tonight! :-) Venus is of course the brighter one on the right and Mercury is on the left at about 8 o'clock! :-) Here are some pictures that I took from our house here in Lomita California! Taken about 8:45 pm PDT with my tripod mounted Canon EOS KissX2 DSLR through my Canon EFS 55-250mm telephoto lens set at 200mm, 2.5 sec exposure, and ASA 200.
