Details:
On the night of April 16th and the morning of the 17th we were treated to a very interesting geomagnetic storm. Substorm after substorm pounded our atmosphere and created unusually unique aurora. A full double band aurora preceded an auroral bead band which preceded the pillar show. I wonder if this was due to cracks developing in our magnetosphere it is close to the equinox.
