Details:
Something really odd appeared on my camera last night. As the Auroral activity was extremely low early in the evening, I was still snapping the images once in a while. So glad I did, as I got this odd pink on few of my photos. It appeared white to the naked eye, but on a cameraback it was completely pink! After years of guiding, I have never seen anything similar to this.
What makes this odd, was the fact the activity was so low and the lights we sitting just on top of the North horizon. It almost looked like Steve on it's leisurely moments. Yet, could the Steve ever be so low on the horizon? To me it remains a mystery, unless Spaceweather team, once again, manages to bust this myth.
Later on the Northern Lights returned to normal -dancing vibrantly everywhere in the sky.
