Details:
On Friday 18th September the young (29 hour old) Crescent Moon was observed descending towards Murahwa Mountain on the western horizon in a smoke- hazed sunset twilight sky despite poor seeing conditions. It was at first only possible to see it in the camera viewfinder before becoming visible to the naked eye as twilight and darkness approached. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset, night scenery and manual exposure modes.
