Details:
Venus was so incredibly bright compared to Uranus! At -4.3 magnitude Venus blew itself away in this 1 second exposure image while the 5.9 magnitude Uranus was hardly visible! Despite being 4.2x larger than Venus, Uranus lies 24.7x further away from the Earth accounting for this brightness difference. I used an Orion Shorttube80 refractor and a Canon 1000D DSLR camera to capture the duo. A 20x1second exposure stack was processed with ImagesPlus and edited with PS5.
