Two hours before the Penumbral Eclipse maximum on Friday 10th the first Full Moon of the decade was recorded rising above the summit of a hill in Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. In the lead photograph, taken at 6.57 pm, the Moon is appearing above the mountain with beautiful reflections of light from fast moving clouds above. The time lapse animation and other images show the Moon rising until in the clear. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in night scene and sunset modes with up to x60 zoom magnification.
