Details:
My magnetometer has been out of action for a few weeks pending a repair, but it is now up and running and is fully functional. This came just in time to capture the latest geomagnetic activity resulting from a fast flowing solar wind stream emanating from a large coronal hole. Although the events over the past couple of nights have been relatively minor in geomagnetic terms, they have, nevertheless, created beautiful aurorae around the poles, as reported on Spaceweather.com The consequent wiggles on the chart caused by the passing wind stream are plain to see.
