The Planetary Society's LightSail 2 solar sail satellite appears as a streak that passes by the 8th magnitude star HD 40078 in the constellation Columba. The field of view is about 0.4 degrees wide, video camera shutter is 8/60ths second. The digits show the UTC time from GPS. Equipment: Celestron NextStar 8SE SCT telescope, Meade f/3.3 focal reducer, Watec 910hx-RC video camera, Canon ZR45mc MiniDV camcorder, and IOTA VTI v3 video time inserter.
