Details:
At 6 am on Tuesday 25th of June the Last Quarter Moon, 50 percent illuminated with an almost perfectly straight terminator, was directly overhead in a dark sky. The accompanying time-lapse animation and mosaic derived from material recorded from pre-dawn until daylight show the beginning of its slow descent towards the south west. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset mode with up to 85 optical + digital zoom magnification.
