>>> Comet C2018 V1 Machholz- Fujikawa-Iwamoto <<< Recently discovered new Comet. After a few more failed attempts to capture a imagine of this comet, especially yesterday morning when the entire 90+ photos I took of it were destroyed by the strong winds, I got a little bit of a break this morning as I managed to capture a short time lapse of the movement. And enough imagines to stack and bring out the detail and direction of the comet's tail.. The tail can be seen pointing towards the 1 o clock position with another shorter fainter one towards 3 o clock position. Difficult Comet to photograph due to it been low on the horizon ( where all the Light pollution and haze live ) but am happy I capture what I could as I now will be turning my attention to Comet 46P. Congratulations to the three discovers of this Comet as this could have easily gone unnoticed. Stacked imagine of 30 files Telescope > Explore Scientific ED102 CF Mount > HEQ5 Camera > Nikon D5600 Location > Ballintra, Co Donegal
