Image of comet C/2017 S3 (PANSTARRS) taken during an outburst that happened at the beginning of July 2018, in wich its brightness increased from magnitude 12 to 9 meanwhile its coma expanded so from 2.5 to 5 arcminutes of appearent size (nearly from 150.000 to 300.000 Km. real diameter). The intense greenish tone of coma suggest that major part of emitted material is about C2 gas (diatomic carbon). Telescope GSO 8" N f/3.8 & Camera Atik 383L+. 14.5 min. total exposure. Non-composite stacking. Locally from Vallés, Valencia (Spain).
