Details:
This is a fisheye view out of the window of our chartered Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which travelled from Christchurch NZ to the Antarctic Circle on 22/23 March in search of the Southern Lights ("Flight to the Lights"). We were not disappointed. An initial dim arc heralded our arrival at the auroral oval, and as we zig-zagged along the oval the intensity picked up as we moved into the early morning.
