It was a very chilly night about -24 and with windchill about -34. Stepping outside to look at bright moon I noticed moon dogs around the moon! looking higher above there with a beautiful arc. A couple hours later as the moon was higher in the sky the arcs on either side formed into a halo above the moon.....quite the site i have never witnessed such. Moon dog shot with canon 60d and 10mm 5 secs at iso 800 f/4. The double halo used canon 6d with sigma lens at 10mm, lots of vignetting but was able to fit in both halos.
