Details:
Ariadaeus rille crosses diagonally across the center of the image, ending just above two small craters on the right known as Ariadaeus and Ariadaeus A. The rille is a crack with the center dropped downward, also know as a graben. The Ariadaeus pair are simultaneous impacts with a sharp, straight wall separating them. On the left side of the image, a portion of the Hyginus Rille disappears into the darkness. The two dark craters, Agrippa upper and Godin lower, are visible in the lower left of the image. On the lower right, Ritter (upper) and Sabine (lower) have nearly filled floors and are much older than the other craters in the area. They also may be a simultaneous impact pair.
