The big question is: What was wrong with the weather forecasts??? Our area was supposed to be under a cloud cover.... Well, happily not! Incredible equinox auroras appeared and the sky was clear, very, very clear! Many hours all kind of shapes, colors and a lot of activity along the sky. The best auroras in Salla - Finnish Lapland for this still young season. Keep an eye on the sky!
