The geodetic tower of Galyatető was build in 1934 atop of Galya (part of Mátra mountain) 955 meters above the sea level. At the beginning of the age of GPS these kind of towers became obsolete. The old and unused building was renovated in 2015 and today it is the highest lookout tower of Hungary. Galyatető, Hungary Canon EOS 5D Mark II + Samyang EF 24/1.4 2x15sec, ISO 3200, F2.0
