Details:
went home for the holidays (Chicago suburbs area) and took a pic of orion with the same settings I use in my yard in interlochen mi (couple towns from traverse city. 3200 asa ...30 seconds...wide angle.....first pic whited out I thought my camera was failing (its getting old)....second pic was the farthest from the city about 60 miles....third pic was when we got home from my yard..it totally blew me away (cameras working fine)...you don't realize what you got till it hits you in the face...DARK SKYS....sometime I go out at night and say ya its clear but just not that good ...well I stand corrected....its great every night
