Details:
3rd night of my 5-night aurora hunt. Drove to Jokulsarlon, then to Fjallsarlon ( to avoid traffic, crowds and car lights ). Clear skies, cold but no wind... nice lenticular clouds come and go... large auroral 'background stuff' as I call it was there soon after dark... just needed to wait for ignition... came nice and bright and wide and with some pink... Also caught a meteor on one photo, and another photo looks like a meteor but is a satellite flare , probably an Iridium.
