It took me a while to convince myself this was not an internal reflection in the airplane window but once I saw the subsundogs I knew it was real. There appeared to be a ring that started at the edges of both subsundogs. I suspect there was an entire halo underneath the airplane that I was not able to see. I was flying to Las Vegas and we were just above some cirrus clouds.
