Details:
What a fantastic start to our Iceland-Trip. We flew from Munich (Germany), where the Oktoberfest takes place at this time, to Iceland. At the half time of the flight i recognized the northern lights right away. It didn’t take a long time until they got intensive. Shooting the Aurora in an Airplane is not an easy thing. Especially without a tripod. Thanks to modern technology - i was able to capture it with a fast lens and very high ISO setting. I used a blanket and covered the window - to avoid light reflection. From Munich to Reykjavik - with Oktoberfest Aurora. Nikon D800 20mm 2.8 ISO 6400 / 1 Second Exposure
