After the perseids are all done I still look forward to shooting the night sky in August! With the Milky Way in prime viewing how can you resist. Took this shot while having a couple beer at the cottage a couple nights ago. My most detailed image of our rich Galaxy yet, largest detention is 40 inches at 300 dpi! Stitched in photoshop.
