Details:
Over the last two years, planets Venus and Jupiter reached three close perspective conjunctions in the sky. The last one occurred on August 27th, 2016 - when the planets were separated by only 0.1°! Due to the bright light condition of the sky and the low elevation upon the west horizon, it has been really challenging observe and take picture at them. With the naked eye was not possible to locate the "couple". Just using a tele-lens I was able to spot it. The picture shows the last "kiss" of the planets over Montegibbio medieval castle. Details: Nikon D750 - 200mm f/2.0 (used at f/5.6) - 400 ISO - 1 sec exp.
