Details:
I was able to observe this conjunction during afterglow and just before the planets set behind my horizon. Venus (easily) and Jupiter (with difficulty) were visible in 10x42 binoculars. Photo details: Canon EOS 100D + 400-mm lens @ f/8, 1/125 s, ISO 200, 18h43m UT.
