Details:
Intended to see the Milky Way rise above the Olympic Mountains, but the Aurora showed up unexpectedly and gave us a private screening as a beautiful bonus feature; it first appeared as pillars with hints of green, and danced gently across the northern horizon.
Taken with Canon 70D with Tokina 11-16mm, and captured around 1:30 am on May 8, 2016.
