Details:
Shown is a time course of the black drop effect at third contact that lasted about 30 seconds. Images were acquired as a time series with a Questar Q 3.5 telescope and a Nikon D800 camera. Individual photos from RAW were converted by Photoshop into gray scale and adjusted before being assembled with Powerpoint. Observation site was Tucson AZ foothills.
