Wow... what a view, this massive active region has formed as the sun is going into it's solar minima. The active region AR12529 is facing directly toward the earth, this allows us to have a better view. Note the "patch work quilt" pattern in the mono image. Details: DS SM90 Etalons fitted to a WO FLT98 scope, BF30 filter,double stacked Barlows and Zwo ASI174MM video camera.
