Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina) imaged on January 17th, 2016 in a nice conjunction with the Pinwheel Galaxy (M 101) at left, and the pair of stars most popular in boreal skies, Mizar and Alcor, at upper right. The comet shows its dust tail toward down, whereas that a very faint ionic tail is barely visible projected toward the quoted couple of stars.
