During a single nine minutes exposure, two bright Perseids “visit” the neighbors of the famous Veil nebula around the 52-Cyg star in Cygnus, the brightest star in the field. The most luminous Perseid was clearly visible in the guide telescope field. Photo details: Pentax SDUF astrograph, 400 f.l., f/4, equipped with a Orion Starshoot Pro CCD. Exposure: 9 min light plus 9 min subtracted dark frame. 21:30 UT
