Here is the Perseid Meteor Shower as seen from Bangor, N. Ireland. The skies were quite hazy but the cloud was thin enough to allow my camera to pick up 64 Perseids over the course of the night. Without having looked at my statistics for previous years yet, I get the impression that last night's activity was a little bit better than average.
