Details:
Yesterday X2.7 flare associated solar radio-burst received with a really cheap RTL-SDR dongle. Self written (still experimental and unstable) program for controlling the dongle and sweeping around the spectrum to overcome the 3.2 MHz bandwidth of the RTL dongle. And RadioSky Publishing RSS (by Jim Sky) software for data recording and visualization. Antenna is a 40m (7.150 MHz) ham radio dipole and a 50MHz low-pass filter. Only internal dongle amplification used.
