Details:
There was an explosive swan shaped prominence on the western limb this morning. This was an event of short duration.
I do not think I noticed it as I was setting up. Waiting for the clouds to disperse, there was a 15 or 20 minute wait between setting up and taking the pictures.
About 20 minutes after I took the photos, the prominence was no longer visible.
Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.
The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
