Details:
It is getting harder each year to find a wilderness area unaffected by Light Pollution. This image was taken from a dark wilderness area. The naturally occurring sky glow was quite bright on this night. Unlike man made light pollution on earth it is impossible anywhere on earth to escape the light pollution from satellite trails in space. In the 1990's it was very rare for a satellite track to be in one of my photos, now it is impossible to avoid and the problem is getting much worse each year. Single 30 second exposure, Canon 6D camera, ISO 1600. Sigma 40mmf1.4 lens set to f1.8. Omegon mechanical clockwork tracker.
