I say this because there is evidence for a periodicity of 79.5 years. The last eruption was in February/March 1946 so add 79.5 years.

2.image shows several "Dips" in 2023-2024 approximately 3-4 months apart. Visual observations only. The stated "Media-Dip" was first announced in February/March 2023, 20 months ago.

Shows the "Dip" 9 months before the Nova in 1946, but this light-curve is not similar to the latest visual light-curve. Because the accuracy of visual observations at the time was only +/- 0.5 mag I don't think any "Pre-Dip" is an indication of a nova eruption.
