Details:
Attached are a couple of recordings and a small animation of the Mercury transit imaged with a 10" Newton in white light (+- 590nm).
The animation is made from one single 50 second recording split up in time in 8 pieces. Each frame in the animation is a sharpened stack of the best 20% of the frames.
Most of the background granulation movement is caused by seeing distortions. The granulation right next to Mercury is a little bit blurry, this is because stacking is a bit more difficult in that area.
